Polychromie, all the colors that make Chartres, colors that gives this city life and beauty. Its a beautiful reminder of Chartres’s history and spirituality.

The Hordons

France - 2018 - 54 min - Original French version - French and English subtitles In the vineyards of Rilly la Montagne, in Champagne, I film a team of seasonal harvesters-cutters. In this region they are called the “hordons”. The group is headed by the young Aymeric who resumes his father’s exploitation. Here, the hordons are not farm workers by profession, they leave out their daily life to live under the same roof and to work together for a twelve days period. Some of them come back year to year and have difficulties to adapt to the new “management” methods of their son. People appear the way they are while their bodies are exhausted, after days of cuts and alcoholic nights have passed.

Imulal, a land, roots and dreams

France - 2012 - - 59 min Original French version In Paris Sylvain Derne, a young journalist involved in debates dealing with Caledonian society, investigates the aspirations of youth which have chosen ‘exile’ in order to pursue studies. His meeting with these representatives of different cultures enables the exchange of points of view and novel visions for New Caledonia’s future. Thus, six students from diverse disciplines share their plans for the future, adopting an outlook which is both deeply rooted in, yet also distanced from, their Oceanian culture, a result of their current life in western society.
