At first it was a Gallo-Roman City , then a medieval capital town and then a political capital town… And now, Chartres has been for the last fifteen years an international capital town of light, So I wanted to know more about this high renown place in french history. I patiently followed the breadcrumb trail that started to appear after a few encounter. It led me to to the heart of Chartres. Polychromie, all the colors that make Chartres, colors that gives this city life and beauty. Its a beautiful reminder of Chartres’s history and spirituality.
